When I first looked at this picture, my first tought was about shyness. About people that they do not want 'appear', you know. I always loved discreet people. Expecially women. I think that real beauty has to be discovered. Not to be slapt on your face. I never liked 'first row' people. I preferred 'second row' ones. The focus on the rose left behind means that. And means a lot of other things, you know. When I look at that picture now, well, I see loneliness. Maybe because I'm writing these lines by night, and the night gives you a different eye. A more essential vue on the things of life. And what I see actually is loneliness, because, as Hermann Hesse wrote 'everybody is alone'.
I agree with paolo I think you found the beauty you're looking for in this shot, and everything in your "artist's comment " makes sense to me when I look at it. Well done

Could it be that all those trick-or-treaters wearing sheets aren't going as ghosts, but as mattresses?
Stupendo scatto...
Davvero davvero davvero bella. Mi sono quasi commosso. E prima di leggere la descrizione La bassa saturazione del colore, l'effetto di sfumatura delle rose più lontane... è tutto bellissimo.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
